Here in Canada Winnipeg

This week has been really really long we are doing a lot a finding and finding a lot of people who do not want anything to do with the Church. Finding people has not been this hard we can seem to fined at least one person who is willing to hear from us a day. . . not this week 0 all week it has felt like also 0 lessons to an investigator for the past 3 weeks. . .

I start off by telling you how everything is going wrong because I know that hard times only last for a short time in life. Take Joseph Smith when He was in Jail He asked how much more of this am I going to have to take? and Christ said to him you pains will only be of a short time (something like that) Even one of the most faithful people that has lived in the past 200 years (Joseph Smith) suffered and suffered. I know that I am not suffering compared to Joseph Smith. What I am getting at is as long we are willing to continue to follow the example of Jesus Christ and be a defender of truth at all times in all things and all places the Lord Will bless us. (Matthew 4:11-12 ) Blessed are ye,when men shall revile you and persecute you and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely FOR MY Sake 12 Rejoice and be exceeding glad for Great is your reward in Heaven"!

Sorry it short but i do know that as hard times come it only makes you stronger just like a weight lifter. . . at first it is hard you dont feel like you are getting anywhere you are sor all the time. you feel like you are wasting your time. No eventually the pain will subside and you will be stonger then ever. . . Trust in the Lord the Gospel is a lot like that but we just have to keep acting on our faith and soon that will be stronger than ever. "Trust in the Lord!! He knows best!"

Hello

Man oh man the weather took a hard turn this week one foot of Snow !! and ( the roads up here are so bad because in UT there are snow plows all the time) no not her In Canada they just smash down the snow so everyone is just driving on ice all the time ! like what the heck even the side walks out side of the Hospital are just smashed down ( that is were people that are hurt talk ) so that is just Crazy to me.

 This week we had 3 lessons planned for Saturday !! Oh dang they all told us no not today come back another time. which is sad but ok what can we do about it ?? Free against (spelling ??)

 So we have had 1 lesson this week ! and the spirit was SO SO strong as I was giving my Testimony about the book of Mormon and How it has helped me in my life. Everyone in the room as crying ( not becuase of what I said) just because the spirit was Testifying of the Trustfulness of the Book of Mormon and How it really Can and will improve people lives.

 I can PROMISE that if we put the Lord First in out life by reading out of the Book Of Mormon Everyday no madder what (even if we have 1 our to study for a test if you spend 5 min in the Book Of Mormon everyday the Lord will Bess you and Help bring to your memory the things you have learned and you will be helped by The Lord.

 This week was slow only because not a lot of lessons (as I said) but we(sorry I had) have a lot of fun with the snow and being able to drive and do a little bit of Driffting in the Church parking lot before like Distinct meeting (just trying to stay my self) the TEWE (spelling?) in the car does not catch it when we drift in the snow haha. .. we are still working hard just trying not to be robots in our day to day lives !!

Week in Canada

Well not a hole lot of stuff happens here in Winnipeg I think the reasons why I had all these storys form Regina is because I was working with the really poor people like If they had a car we were asked to turn them ever to other missionaries so that made for falling through chars, Prochest. Crazy people everywhere !! But here in Winnipeg done of those storys really. Yes There is still Crazy people that is for sure.

Ok so I has This motto "I Fear No Man" meaning no madder who I am going to talk to I just talk to them with my big smile! haha for some reason I love kocking on the doors that say something like "we have already found Jesus leave us alone" "we are not interested in what you have to say" haha

 Oh yeah that does not make so people very happy but there are some people that end up lissioning to us and ask questions so that is why I still do it haha

 So Elder Linford and I were walking around the block street contacting people in 0C (32F) and we tried talk to his guy and he was not having any of it. Then I menched the book of Mormon and he became really interested we talk for 10 min in the cold he ask for the book of Mormon! so that is cool ( we cant get a hold of him but that is ok we were only the first set of missionary to talk to him and I heard it takes something like 7 time running into members before someone is willing to take the lessons. most of the time )

 oh so the other day we were tracking (we do a lot of that ) and we came to this house and we talked she said she was not interested but she liked us and invited us in to talk more (she said she was just going to give us some food ) (oh and not about the Gospel) so we told her that we cant come inside because there is not a man in the house so she went inside and came back with Popsicle's (ice cream I dont know if I spelled that right haha) haha only people in Canada will give you icecream when it is 32 F outside haha it was awesome and made me happer to keep knocking on doors

Well I am supper sorry I just did not make time to do my weekly email. . . a lot of finding but one of our investigators did get baptized and his name is Taiwo !!

I Don't Know What to Title This One Haha

Well To start off I am saying sorry for my spelling because the computer I am using is set to spanish and I have No Idea how to change it back so everything on my screan in underlined in red haha.

 This week was really slow only had 2 lessons this week (that is ushula here in canada everyone says but also we only had 2 lessions pland so and most of the time you are able to set up reture apointments and at the door people say no they are to busy right now)

 This week we were able to give out 2 BOOKS OF MORMONS !! (we don't get that much here also) so That was exciting and we have some return apointments now !! so I am getting really happy about that.

 So the 2 apointmets we had were with a man named Taiwo !! had at the end of the 2 lesson he was saying when am I getting babtized ?!?!? When Can I ? (he has already been to church 4 times in the past month !! so that means right now he is planned to be babtized on October 20Th but that might have to be pushed back to the next saterday because of stake confrence this week.

 I am learning so so much about being paithent and working Mentely hard all all the time.I really Love 2 nephi 27:23 and it talks about that we have A God of Miricals and Through faith we can see those Miricals !!

It Snowed --

This Week

ok so Story back in Regina. Elder Darley and I finoly got into this laddies house who we found day 3 but could never come back until now. and ways she asked us to sit around the dinner table. I am the last one to sit down now. When I went to sit down I FELL THROUGH THE CHAR!! like the lag broke... I was so so shocked I just really ended up sitting on the laddies floor in about 3 seconds. ( I Have not even gained any weight. haha well we still ended up having a grate lesson and she said she would be baptized !! I left the next day So I Dont Know if they were able to get into her house again hahah 

So Now in Winnipeg.

My Comp. great we get a long we talk and we work well together So far Elder Linford and I have a investigator that is really a good investigator someone who reads prays and goes to church with us. I have only be there for one lesson but they have had like 3 or 4 with him so that is really exciting.

Elder Linford does not really know how to get around the city (oh yeah I forgot the say Elder Linford is only been out for 12 weeks on his mission ) but he keeps telling me that I already know more about how to get around then he does. (That was day one) so we use a map a lot as we drive around. 

So the pics are First off some food that I mad (I only send pics of the good food haha) The Geese Elder Darley and I were and a bridge with  a bunch of Native people and there was Geese every where so I just had to take a quick pick haha. Elder Linford and I. and they really do have these over passes bridges so in the winter people do Not have to walk across the street in the snow !! It gets that cold in Winnipeg or should I say Winterpeg haha I hear that a lot 

Well Trust in the Lord with all your hear might mined and strength. Read alma 28 it is only like 15 verses and It is a good chapter !!

6 Weeks Already ?!?! Transfers

I leave thursday morning at like 4 am to go to Winnipeg London ward (yes I am getting transferred) I am excited to be in one ward !! on 4 haha. . . IT is really weird to think that I am already changing areas. I know that even through I was only here for 6 weeks this is where I need to be. It has been hard but yes hard is a consistent part of life. if life is not hard we are degressing NOT progressing !!

 Conference was just awesome !! I really loved Elders Donald Hallstrom's talk. What is a miracle? I think the answer to that question for me is. . . a lot of this for example last week Elder bassett and I were out tracking on the left side and we were going down and all of the sudden (I did not have this prompting that in my mind turn you need to talk to someone over here) I just turned and went across the street. before we even knocked on this door a man answered the door and let us in. He told us, " I saw you to boys walking over then and I thought to myself I want those to boys to come talk to me." Just after that you turned across the street and came to my door.

 That was just an awesome experience for him and me (for me I was able to start to see how different the spirit talks to people). . . To me that was a miracle, This man does not want to here more form us he thought we were nice but was not for him. Was that miracle a waist ?!?! NO NOT AT ALL. a quote I have says "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, BUT people will NEVER forget how you made them feel." We were able to bring the spirit into his life and that is what we as missionaries are here to do is to invite everyone to follow Christ.

 I know the church is true and the Lord loves each and everyone of us.
