Merry Christmas !!

Ok so this week Elder Abadicio and I were tracking it was like 8:30 and we are cold well we are always cold you just never get competently warm haha. But we knocked on this one laddies home (quick side note if it is cold out side we dont need fellowship to step into a women house for only like the 3 min or 5 min really nice) but so this laddie lets us in and right aways she goes in to bible bashing mode and telling us we don't read the scriptures well and telling us everything that she thinks she know about us. . .one of the things she talked about is why it is important NOT to have Christmas (because we are not supposed to follow the traditions of men) so we just kindly said sorry for getting you all worked up. Thanks for letting us visit with you for a little bit. . . All that night I was trying to figure that out WHY do we Christmas and this is what I came up with

 : Articles of Faith 1:13 We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things. Right there at the end of 13... Christmas is the time when people are not most Charitable. People Give and help other. We try to be the light of the World. We try to make the world a better place !

 And this just made me think why would we not have Christmas. Why would we wont to get ride of happiness That because of Christs we have ?!?!

 I know that Jesus Christ Love each and everyone one of us. There is not one person that is not able to feel the love of Christ. If we want to feel the Love that our Heavenly Father has for us MORE FULLY we have to build a Relation ship with our Father in Heaven. and How we do that is by talking with him(Prayer) and them listening ( through personal revelations or the Most Common way it through Reading the Scriptures (mainly the Book of Mormon) The Book of Mormon has Power to help lift harts and strengthen each and everyone of us.

 I love the Gospel I love that I do have a Loving Heavenly Father that wants to hear form me each and everyday...

 One thing I miss about home is the Temple being able to go when ever... would each and everyone of you who can make it to the temple make an effort and go !

The Canada Winnipeg Mission

The work is slow so just some stories for you. . . Well Elder Abadicio and I are getting a long great ! so like during lunch break we play some basketball (P.I.G) with a small hoop and well this week during the night someone slipped us a letter that our neighbors they called themselves they said somthing like we have talked to the office about the noise you make and they told us to get the Winnipeg police involved to get you to stop making noise sooo will you stop before we get the cops. . . Kinda stupid just come tell us to stop in person we did not ever realize we were even making so much noise !

 ok when i was with Elder Linford we were tracking and it was like 8:30 pm and we are just going for door to door and We walked up to this door and I knocked on it just like a small tap as I was reading this paper he had on his door. it said DO NOT KNOCK ON MY DOOR AFTER 7PM and when I tapped the door Dogs barking and Barking and we panicked thinking what do we do what do we do !?!?! SOO probably should not have done this but We ran away for the door as fast as we could haha

Hey !! All the Way From Canada !!

This week was good we have been trying so hard to find people to teach that are interested (tracting has not been going good for me ) haha well I am learning a lot about how the spirit work ! I is hard to explain. .. there is no better way of saying it then if it leads you to do good it is of God. and that is a great way to start to realize the promptings of the spirit and then as you continue to follow those you began to realize how the spirit speaks to you all the time !

I know that the Lord loves each and everyone one of us he Knows our tries and knows our weakness... Which means He knows how to make us stronger and work a "if we are on the right path it will Always be up hill"

 I know that the Lord Really does want the best for us !

Oh Canada!

So Thursday Night Elder Linford and I get a call form the assistance at 9:30 pm and they tell us Elder linford is getting moved. . . I am getting a new comp who is coming in form New Zeland (sorry I don't know how to spell it) so that is gooding to be awesome !! (oh and that is all happing this week mid transfer !) Kinda Crazy Eh It will all work out !

so this week Elder Linford and I since we have not had any success finding people we went through ALL Potential Records (people who said come back and the missionarys before were unale to contact them again) (100 people) and made this map of our area so and put everyone on it so we can stop by everyone of them and see if they are interested again. . . so far no luck . . .we have only been able to do 10 out of the 100 so 90 more to go !! haha

 The weather here well. . . there has not been a day here since October 25 that there has not been snow on the ground !! I am still warm thou like all I use is just a middle temp. jacket and my church shoes (all my other clothes also for any of you who my have been confused about that statement haha) ( So no boots yet. . . I got to warm of boots my feet would be to hot and that is no fun walking around in)

 This week there was also a Filipino party and all the missionarys were also to come also which was great! . . . BUT. . . They asked us to sing a Christmas song for all of them so we said we would. . .Then the Zone leaders had to go give a blessing so they left then 2 other sisters were using the bathroom at the time so 4 of us get up there to sing and we start the other 3 missionaries started so not sing anymore ( like they were but they could not stop them selfs form laughing so it seemed to me I was infront of 85 -100 Filipinos singing a solo . . . it was funny because then one of the people can a sang with us because he felt bad for us. . . haha so yeah

 Well I hope all is going well for all of you back at home in good old Utah !!

This week was a lot a finding !! So I am not going to tell you all the streets we tracked on haha. . .The Members here (there may not be very much but they are very nice and Love to feed us) like wow I dont know how I am not gaining any weight (well I am trying to each like a good friend of mine named Brantley.) so how it works is as you are eatting you have to just start talking so there is not time to put anyone food in your mouth haha I thanks Brantley for that little trick that is comming handy right now haha.

 all the Members are filipino it seems like and they are always talking tigolic (spelling?) so hay I know what it feels like to be sitting there and feel like the only one who has no Idea what is being said haha

 This week we went on a exchange and I went with elder Brayley and we were talking about how there is Ice Everywhere like Here in Canada they dont seem to know how to clean the roads they just let people drive on it and then it turns to ice haha but we were saying how it was out goal to make it all of winter and not fall haha I was DOing so going until we were talking up to this house where we has set up an appointment and I came around the corner and splat there I go on the floor. . . If anyone is wondering I am OK.. ..

Thanks so much for all the Prayers This week I could really feel a difference and I think it is because of prayers. I love the song Did you Think to Pray in it it says Prayer will change the night to day I know that it really does. . . The hardest part about praying is getting the answer and be willing to be happy with what ever answer we get and for me getting the NO to my prayer is hard but I know that our Heavenly Father is there and wants to help us. . . Even when He says NO to something does not mean he is not going to help you with what you are struguling with it just means Our Heavenly Father wants us to grow and gain and in strengthening our Testimony.

 This week I found 2 new investigators !! and 6 others that are not investigators but we have return appointments !!

 We did not do much this week other then finding (not much funny storys) I love telling my funny story but when you don't have any...

 ok well I kinda got one We were talking to the bishop (he is a really funny man) be he and his family were feeding us dinner and they were asking us what we missed out the states and what I said was cheep Cheese like a block of cheese here is like $12 and so we all laugh about it.

 So a week latter we were sitting in ward council and the bishop was 5 min late so we started with out him when he walked in there was a stop of the conversation waiting for him to sit down out of nowhere this block of cheese comes flying through the air and nails me in the chest because (I had stuff in my hands haha) well I think the bishop likes me. . .

 This week was good I know that the Lord is there for each and everyone of us and wants to help us through our hard times but he also want us to grow. . .We are all like baby chickens we need to out of our shells but our self or we will never make it through this hard life. . . We need our testimony's of the Love our Savior has for us in this same way. . . We need to Want it we need to Desire it we need to Work and it and be willing to follow the Lord more closely then ever before so we can make it though this hard life...

This week has been really really long we are doing a lot a finding and finding a lot of people who do not want anything to do with the Church. Finding people has not been this hard we can seem to fined at least one person who is willing to hear from us a day. . . not this week 0 all week it has felt like also 0 lessons to an investigator for the past 3 weeks. . .

I start off by telling you how everything is going wrong because I know that hard times only last for a short time in life. Take Joseph Smith when He was in Jail He asked how much more of this am I going to have to take? and Christ said to him you pains will only be of a short time (something like that) Even one of the most faithful people that has lived in the past 200 years (Joseph Smith) suffered and suffered. I know that I am not suffering compared to Joseph Smith. What I am getting at is as long we are willing to continue to follow the example of Jesus Christ and be a defender of truth at all times in all things and all places the Lord Will bless us. (Matthew 4:11-12 ) Blessed are ye,when men shall revile you and persecute you and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely FOR MY Sake 12 Rejoice and be exceeding glad for Great is your reward in Heaven"!

Sorry it short but i do know that as hard times come it only makes you stronger just like a weight lifter. . . at first it is hard you dont feel like you are getting anywhere you are sor all the time. you feel like you are wasting your time. No eventually the pain will subside and you will be stonger then ever. . . Trust in the Lord the Gospel is a lot like that but we just have to keep acting on our faith and soon that will be stronger than ever. "Trust in the Lord!! He knows best!"

Man oh man the weather took a hard turn this week one foot of Snow !! and ( the roads up here are so bad because in UT there are snow plows all the time) no not her In Canada they just smash down the snow so everyone is just driving on ice all the time ! like what the heck even the side walks out side of the Hospital are just smashed down ( that is were people that are hurt talk ) so that is just Crazy to me.

 This week we had 3 lessons planned for Saturday !! Oh dang they all told us no not today come back another time. which is sad but ok what can we do about it ?? Free against (spelling ??)

 So we have had 1 lesson this week ! and the spirit was SO SO strong as I was giving my Testimony about the book of Mormon and How it has helped me in my life. Everyone in the room as crying ( not becuase of what I said) just because the spirit was Testifying of the Trustfulness of the Book of Mormon and How it really Can and will improve people lives.

 I can PROMISE that if we put the Lord First in out life by reading out of the Book Of Mormon Everyday no madder what (even if we have 1 our to study for a test if you spend 5 min in the Book Of Mormon everyday the Lord will Bess you and Help bring to your memory the things you have learned and you will be helped by The Lord.

 This week was slow only because not a lot of lessons (as I said) but we(sorry I had) have a lot of fun with the snow and being able to drive and do a little bit of Driffting in the Church parking lot before like Distinct meeting (just trying to stay my self) the TEWE (spelling?) in the car does not catch it when we drift in the snow haha. .. we are still working hard just trying not to be robots in our day to day lives !!

Week in Canada

Well not a hole lot of stuff happens here in Winnipeg I think the reasons why I had all these storys form Regina is because I was working with the really poor people like If they had a car we were asked to turn them ever to other missionaries so that made for falling through chars, Prochest. Crazy people everywhere !! But here in Winnipeg done of those storys really. Yes There is still Crazy people that is for sure.

Ok so I has This motto "I Fear No Man" meaning no madder who I am going to talk to I just talk to them with my big smile! haha for some reason I love kocking on the doors that say something like "we have already found Jesus leave us alone" "we are not interested in what you have to say" haha

 Oh yeah that does not make so people very happy but there are some people that end up lissioning to us and ask questions so that is why I still do it haha

 So Elder Linford and I were walking around the block street contacting people in 0C (32F) and we tried talk to his guy and he was not having any of it. Then I menched the book of Mormon and he became really interested we talk for 10 min in the cold he ask for the book of Mormon! so that is cool ( we cant get a hold of him but that is ok we were only the first set of missionary to talk to him and I heard it takes something like 7 time running into members before someone is willing to take the lessons. most of the time )

 oh so the other day we were tracking (we do a lot of that ) and we came to this house and we talked she said she was not interested but she liked us and invited us in to talk more (she said she was just going to give us some food ) (oh and not about the Gospel) so we told her that we cant come inside because there is not a man in the house so she went inside and came back with Popsicle's (ice cream I dont know if I spelled that right haha) haha only people in Canada will give you icecream when it is 32 F outside haha it was awesome and made me happer to keep knocking on doors

Well I am supper sorry I just did not make time to do my weekly email. . . a lot of finding but one of our investigators did get baptized and his name is Taiwo !!

I Don't Know What to Title This One Haha

Well To start off I am saying sorry for my spelling because the computer I am using is set to spanish and I have No Idea how to change it back so everything on my screan in underlined in red haha.

 This week was really slow only had 2 lessons this week (that is ushula here in canada everyone says but also we only had 2 lessions pland so and most of the time you are able to set up reture apointments and at the door people say no they are to busy right now)

 This week we were able to give out 2 BOOKS OF MORMONS !! (we don't get that much here also) so That was exciting and we have some return apointments now !! so I am getting really happy about that.

 So the 2 apointmets we had were with a man named Taiwo !! had at the end of the 2 lesson he was saying when am I getting babtized ?!?!? When Can I ? (he has already been to church 4 times in the past month !! so that means right now he is planned to be babtized on October 20Th but that might have to be pushed back to the next saterday because of stake confrence this week.

 I am learning so so much about being paithent and working Mentely hard all all the time.I really Love 2 nephi 27:23 and it talks about that we have A God of Miricals and Through faith we can see those Miricals !!

It Snowed --

This Week

ok so Story back in Regina. Elder Darley and I finoly got into this laddies house who we found day 3 but could never come back until now. and ways she asked us to sit around the dinner table. I am the last one to sit down now. When I went to sit down I FELL THROUGH THE CHAR!! like the lag broke... I was so so shocked I just really ended up sitting on the laddies floor in about 3 seconds. ( I Have not even gained any weight. haha well we still ended up having a grate lesson and she said she would be baptized !! I left the next day So I Dont Know if they were able to get into her house again hahah 

So Now in Winnipeg.

My Comp. great we get a long we talk and we work well together So far Elder Linford and I have a investigator that is really a good investigator someone who reads prays and goes to church with us. I have only be there for one lesson but they have had like 3 or 4 with him so that is really exciting.

Elder Linford does not really know how to get around the city (oh yeah I forgot the say Elder Linford is only been out for 12 weeks on his mission ) but he keeps telling me that I already know more about how to get around then he does. (That was day one) so we use a map a lot as we drive around. 

So the pics are First off some food that I mad (I only send pics of the good food haha) The Geese Elder Darley and I were and a bridge with  a bunch of Native people and there was Geese every where so I just had to take a quick pick haha. Elder Linford and I. and they really do have these over passes bridges so in the winter people do Not have to walk across the street in the snow !! It gets that cold in Winnipeg or should I say Winterpeg haha I hear that a lot 

Well Trust in the Lord with all your hear might mined and strength. Read alma 28 it is only like 15 verses and It is a good chapter !!

6 Weeks Already ?!?! Transfers

I leave thursday morning at like 4 am to go to Winnipeg London ward (yes I am getting transferred) I am excited to be in one ward !! on 4 haha. . . IT is really weird to think that I am already changing areas. I know that even through I was only here for 6 weeks this is where I need to be. It has been hard but yes hard is a consistent part of life. if life is not hard we are degressing NOT progressing !!

 Conference was just awesome !! I really loved Elders Donald Hallstrom's talk. What is a miracle? I think the answer to that question for me is. . . a lot of this for example last week Elder bassett and I were out tracking on the left side and we were going down and all of the sudden (I did not have this prompting that in my mind turn you need to talk to someone over here) I just turned and went across the street. before we even knocked on this door a man answered the door and let us in. He told us, " I saw you to boys walking over then and I thought to myself I want those to boys to come talk to me." Just after that you turned across the street and came to my door.

 That was just an awesome experience for him and me (for me I was able to start to see how different the spirit talks to people). . . To me that was a miracle, This man does not want to here more form us he thought we were nice but was not for him. Was that miracle a waist ?!?! NO NOT AT ALL. a quote I have says "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, BUT people will NEVER forget how you made them feel." We were able to bring the spirit into his life and that is what we as missionaries are here to do is to invite everyone to follow Christ.

 I know the church is true and the Lord loves each and everyone of us.

Oh Canada Oh Canada

so I would just like to start of with a stacting story.

so most missionaries have stories like we knocked and knocked and door after door no after no then one says yes. but that is not how this story goes.

Elder Darley was letting me plan out our day so I get all excited I get to go where I think we would go!! kinda attitude (I am really excited) I am looking at the map where to go tracting and I am like I have never heard this street before lets go there. so we are knocking people are nice here so they talk to you "just" to be nice then say no. as we are walking we start to go up this stairs that lead up to this really really old rundown house (and the stairs were the same way7 feet off the ground). I knock on the door and knock again and no one is home. as we turn to go down the stairs to keep tracting Elder Darley falls through ! the run down stairs like one of the boards just broke haha (he did not hit the ground he caught himself by the time he was half way through the porch) It was the funnies thing yet on the mission. . . we leave and on our way back we see this guy looking at his broke porch. So we go up to him and start saying sorry that elder Darley fell through (he was ok along as Elder Darley was ok) now to make things short,l he now has a baptismal date for the end of october!! haha how awesome !

 also just a quick thing I was on splits with Elder bassett and in his area there is a street called Wadey street so i was kinda like we have got to go here so we went and the very first house we knock on the guy's name was WADE like what?!?!?! Elder Wade talking to Wade on Wadey street haha that cool !!

 I am working hard out here like holy cow satan works HARD on the Lord's missionaries.

This Week All the Way Up In Canada

Soo I am going to start off with the photos I sent a pic of food because I wanted to show what I would eat out here in the mission field !! yeah That is a lie that food is the best meal that I have made back at the apartment haha the second photo is all the missionaries that are serving in the hole city of Regina. (oh i am so happy I am in a city because if I was not in the city the only other missionary I would see in my Comp. ) so The city is a nice place to serve. 

Oh so Saturday night came and I was so so happy because we had 9 !! investigators who said they were going to come to Church !! How cool is that. . . BUT wait When sunday come the next day we were calling people making sure that everyone was going to have a ride and all that good stuff..... (Hear is the worst part) so we call Ken (a man who has read and prayed about the book of Mormon and says he know that it is from God) and when I asked Ken if he was coming he said he never wanted to talk to us again and he was not coming to church. (I was sad but then just remembered all I am here on a mission is to bring the gospel to people and let them choose and use their agency if they want to follow what the Lord wants for them) Then our 2 other people with baptismal dates have stopped answering their phone and stopped coming to the door so they did not come to Church.

Then the worst one just because it was kinda our fault that she and her whole family did not come. . . so her and her family said they would just want to church which was awesome !! because then we dont have to fined a ride for them or any thing. 12:10roles around and her husband calls and says that they actually do want ride. . . all the people that we called said they could give them a ride at 12:30 but they were running really late and had to open the school (where church is) so we could set up the sacrement and ended up not getting to their house until 1:10 and but that time she probably thought that we had forgot about her and so she went shopping so she did not come to church. . . anyways that was a really long way of telling you guys that all 9 of our investigators did not come to church.

-Sunday in a different ward someone what baptized earlier this week and I was asked to confirm her a member in sacrement !! that was an awesome experience!! 

This week we also had Zone conference and we had Elder Andersen some (from the 70) and the topic that everyone picked (that was speaking was faith) and best part was this "Faith is NOT just believing that Christ is there for you and that he really but faith is Trusting IN Gods will and Knowing that it will all work out as long as we are following His commandments!!  

I know that Christ is there for each and everyone of us. I know that He lives and that He has died for me and would do it all over again if it was just for me. Christ Loves us That much !! He will do anything for us as long as we Trust (have faith) in His will/ timeing. 

CHRIST IS THERE FOR YOU !! 

I love you and The LORD Loves you even more then you can even imagine.

Well sorry I am kinda short on time right now so sorry to everyone who I was not able to email to this week I will try to type faster next week so I can get to them all...

 So quick story So this Sunday we were driving to the church and it is (12 K away form our apartment and we only have 57 k a day) and when we arrived I noticed that i had forgotten my suit coat so I call Elder Jensen to see if I can use one of his suit coats so he was so nice and said I could use one and Sooo I did not really fit in it like i could not butten it up or anything and I could not lean forward because I was scared that I would rip the coat and you have to remember That I has wearing that suit coat form 9 am -5 pm holy cow I was so so uncomfortable haha but I am happy that I could use it.

 also i went on splits this week so i went with Elder Fowler and we went to a guys house who's name was jason and Jason was a funny dude like as we were talking to him he showed us this jar of dead flys that when he kills them he will put them in this jar and he calls them like the living dead jar or something like that.

 so a little bit about people where I am at. the people in here are nice (which kinda really stinks) only because we will set an appointment with some one and they will say yes and then when you come back and knock on the door you see the TV turn off and then people hiding from you (if you dont want to talk to us then dont waist our time by saying yes to us coming back) we will talk to people all the time that are like this but also people I think people think that we are the cops haha also people here as we are walking down the street trying to talk to people they will just cross the road so they wont have to talk to us haha that is ok because we just follow them across the read. I guess I am getting used to knocking on doors because for my first area they were opening a new area so there is all new some yeah so we have to start from the beginning so that is kinda funny (haha) so my first tracking approach that I had went a little buit like this Hello we are the missio --- I dont want what you guys are selling... we dont sell anything we teach people about Jesus Christ ---- Oh yeah I dont want any of that stuff either slams the door haha ( you also have to remember that hole time I had my had out to shake his haha) ( that is one of the not so nice people). but the part of canada I am in the not nice at all ( I have never seen so so many broken windows because of rocks through through them. . . I am in the hood ) (like not joking we are not aloud to track after it gets dark because they say it is not safe for use to be there haha yeah)

 I love love teaching teaching people it just makes me so happy. . . but the funny thing is i also love giving talks in church hahah kinda funny now but I dont know what it is (haha I think I just might like to hear my self talk haha no that is not it I just love sharing my testimony with people and seeing how that can change how people think. . . SOOO where I am getting with this is I would encourage you all the share what you KNOW and that will make your testimony so much stronger !! Oh by the way there is Rabbits and squirrels like EVERY where !!!

Holy cow the weeks here drag on right now. I love teaching so much I love being able to share my testimony all the time with like everyone i get to know haha. but what makes the week so long is when I am in the rooms. I don't even know what to say about that place (they are nice rooms) but I just HATE being in there because I start to think about all you guys and how awesome I think all you guys are. 

I don't know why but everyone just want to give me stuff like this week people i dont know how many times i was offered a cigarette and I was also offered BEER haha they just wanted give me anything haha yeah the funny thing is that they never ask if Elder Darley wants any but they only ask me. haha what are you going to do about it other then just say no. . .

This week Elder Darley and I had 2 investigators come to church !! that was awesome !! there names are cassy and Nathaniel and they are both 18 and living together (we have not taught them that lesson yet haha) but these to people are awesome they love the lessons when we teach. I am really excited for them.

this week also I go to Church all day like form 7 am - 7 pm holy cow that was ssssssooooo long haha it is nice through sundays are the best. so I went to a inter city group. . . (in the North Central area people dont have money for cars so there is a church for people to walk to)(it is just a room not a hole Church) so I walked in there and in the room there was only 7 people there including me !! 

and 2 others were my investigators how weird. . . haha week I have to go my time is up so love you guys.

Oh Canada

Well I am called to the Regina north Central area YSA and Lamanite (native people) fun fact about this spot is the North Central area in the most dangerous spot in canada so We are not allowed to go there after it gets dark. . . haha its all good it is only bad at night so I am all ok the Lord would not be willing to put me somewhere I would not be ok going that. So the native people are so nice (during the day)(at least to us haha) but a lot of people are willing to let us come and set appointment with us. The only problem is when we show up we see them through the window and when we knock on the door the TV turns off and they act like no one is home haha it kinda stinks but it is their choice so its ok... I was able to give my first books for Mormon !!! (3 of them) it was awesome !! oh I forgot to mention that the North Central area is a brand new mission so (white washed) any ways back to my story about all the new investigators ... So Elder Darly (my COMP.) and I are walking around knocking on doors where we were supposed to have appointment and again no one is home. anyways a man opens his door and we were talking to him and He has just gotten out of Jail (no idea why) and he comes out was lights his cigarette and asks if we want on haha. so we start teaching him about the Book of Mormon and that is going really well and he wants the book of Mormon (1 book for me) and then the rest of his family shows up and he tells them all to sit down and talk to us so now we have 5 people sitting on the front of there house all listening to us (which was awesome !) and then the dad tells the girls to go get us these drinks ( no idea what they have just handed us to drink) so I was kinda freaking out like what is this man having us drink) so we are trying to talk to them and smell what type of drink we have just gotten but I just tried it any ways. . . you will never believe what I drank haha yeah you would it was cherry soda haha so so happy it was that. any ways we were able to finish our lesson and now were have another appointment with this family really excited. oh this week on sunday it was 8:00 am and I get a call and they were asking me to give a talk in Church about my favorite mission story haha i told him I would give a talk but I was only 3 days in haha the talk went really really well. . . after church the bishop pulled me aside and said how happy he was and how much the ward is going to love having me in the ward teaching them. which was awesome to hear!! anyways Canada is cool. I cant wait until i am like 12 weeks in so I don't get home sick haha   well thanks Love Elder Wade

MTC Life

this week we had 2 Apostles come Elder Ballerd and Elder Anderson!!!! HOW  cool is that 3 Apostles in 2 weeks !!! it cant get better then that here at the MTC. . .  I feel really bad through because I ALWAYS fall asleep for the first like 20 min the the devotionals. (sad) so I always wake up like 5 min already into their talks. I still got a lot out of them but i just miss out on so much because of the sleep and then the worst part is Then I CANT sleep that night (mad face) not because i am home sick but because i just took a nap like 1 hour ago. . . 

I have started the book of Mormon over this last Thursday and I am already on page 70 !!(which is great for me because I am a slow reader) haha that is ok. . .  reading the Book of Mormon all over again and trying to read more then just one chapter a day is so awesome!! I can get so much more out of reading. . ..

so we are in the new building for the school part of the MTC which means we are not allowed to have any food up there. . .  anyways the 4 people going to Canada brought a hole suit case worth of food up into class trying to get the teacher to let us go outside and have a big party !!! (we had so much food) anyways some home the janitors found out that we were bringing food into the building and they were so mad (they told all of this to another group of Missionarys haha I don't know why they got mad at them for what we did. but that is ok with me) 

Here at the MTC we get to do practice lessons with fake investigators which is kinda alot of fun learning how to teach and share the gospel. . . We had one investigator who's name Paula. She was so awesome to teach. I was able to give my testimony on the importance of reading the Book of Mormon  everyday and also my testimony of Joseph Smith the Spirit was so strong. it was great.

does anyone else realize that i only have 4 more days until i get to move to Canada ??? How crazy is that ?!?!?!  I still cant believe that i am really going to Canada the one place that I have always wanted to go it is it is just so awesome. . .  

I miss home but i also love it so so so much here i just cant wait to be able to be really teaching people that are looking for the gospel... I know that this church is true and the most important thing is I KNOW that we have a loving Heavenly father who wants to help each and everyone of us all we have to do is be humble enough to get down on our knees and ask him for his help and be willing to do anything that the Lord wants you to do. . .

This Week

Well where do I start ?!?!?! This week has gone by so so fast I feel like it was Saturday just 2 days ago! This week has been so much fun being able to learn to teach better and know what to say. WOW I am learning so much it is just great!! 

 One day this week Elder Roberts and I just finished teaching a lesson and we walk into my room and ALL of my roommates stole my bed!! like I cant finned it anywhere !! so I am running around looking into all the rooms around us looking for my bed. . . Any ways I look into a room and there is some kid i don't even know looking at another kids bed asking "why is there too beds on this one bed ??" right as he said that I put MY bed on my back and don't even respond to him and just walk out. haha i still have not talked to that kid.

This week as I was walking around trying to get to the next place I saw sooo many people I knew like 5 diffrent groups of people!! so that was cool !

So Elder's carr, Jensen and I have gotten soo many packages this week. which is great I love getting stuff but I have so much food Right now (each person gets there own place to put there clothes and we have 2 !! of those places filled with food Like holy cow we have so much food. 

our room is (all the 4 peoples going to Canada room) is the cool room we have people over all the time just chilling and hanging out during the night (even people I don't know who they are haha we all love it)

oh yeah I almost forgot but this week I get some NERF Guns from my family but we use those all the time. We actually came up with is fun game that is kinnda like the cowboys shooting things were you have to stand so fare from the other person and you have to try to shoot the other Elders name tags !! That was way fun we really got into that game. we even did a double elimination braket !! And guess who came in first !! this guy haha Elder Wade 1 Elder Jensen 2 and Elder Carr 3 all top 3 all people who are going to Canada !!

last Sunday Elder Bednar came and that was just so cool being able to here him speak.

We are doing a lot of learning the Gospel and teaching right not I just don't think that is as fun to read so I don't put that much in haha But teaching is really a lot of here some of the fake investagators (teachers) are really good and giving the Elders a hard time by not paying atention while to teach so that you get used to that when there is a family and you are trying to teach one person and the rest of the family does not want to be there is that is really cool. 

I am Loving it here but I also cant wait to go out to Canada spread the gospel.
